Saratoga Springs, NY - Jean M. "Eenie Beanie" Nowakowski passed away Saturday (Jan. 9, 2010) at Saratoga Hospital. She was 71. Born on Jan. 28, 1938 in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Grzywna and Helen Benosche. She is the wife of Richard C. Nowakowski. Jean was an inspector for the Bendix Company, now Honeywell Company in Green Island. She enjoyed going to Lake George, dining out with family and friends as well as taking care of her loving husband, Dick. In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by her sister Madeline (Jim) Piurek of Amsterdam, her brother Pat DeLorenzo of California and her sister in law Josephine Neelis of Green Island as well as her nieces and nephews; Jackie Neelis, Jim Neelis, Bobby Neelis, Terri Martuscello and Jim Piurek. Also survived by several great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 5-7:00pm on Wednesday (Jan. 13, 2010) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes of 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). Prayers will follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home.
