Jeanne Morris, 71 years old, of Saratoga Springs, NY passed away on June 8, 2023 surrounded by her loving husband, four sons, and sister.

Jeanne lived an active lifestyle and in later years suffered through medical challenges due to paralysis. She managed to overcome her illnesses and her passion was visiting her grandchildren and rooting them on at sporting events and various performances. Jeanne was happiest vacationing on the Jersey shore with all her family surrounding her, enjoying the ocean breeze and beach sights.

Jeanne was born on January 8, 1952 in New York City the daughter of the late James and Margaret Reynolds. She was raised in Leonia, NJ and was the sister of Richard (Cathy) Reynolds and Mary (David) Dively. Jeanne graduated from Glassboro State (now Rowan University) earning a bachelor's degree in Special Education and a master's degree as a Learning Disability Teacher Consultant. She worked a long tenure as an educator for the Saratoga Springs City School District. Jeanne was a very active member of the Saratoga Springs Teachers Association (SSTA) serving as Vice President of the union.

Jeanne is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Francis Morris, whom she was married to for over 47 wonderful years; four boys and their wives, Michael (Nicole), Daniel (Lita), Ryan (Corrin) and Andrew (Laura); siblings, Richard (Cathy) Reynolds and Mary (David) Dively;  grandchildren, Aidan, Lauren, Madelyn, Cormac, Clara, Graeme, Adrian and Aelish; and many friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Margaret Reynolds and her husband's parents, Charles and Kathryn Morris.

Jeanne enjoyed times at the family camp in Indian Lake, NY, long weekends in Ogunquit, ME and Lake Placid, NY, summer beach weeks in Stone Harbor, NJ, and winter visits to Clearwater Beach, FL. She was a voracious reader of novels while soaking up the sun and in the evening could be found cheering for her beloved NY Mets with Fran. She cherished dinners, visits, and antics with her Saratoga girlfriends (you know who you are).

Relatives and friends may gather from 4-7pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at William J. Burke/Bussing and Cunniff  Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
