Saratoga Springs, NY – Jennifer Ludwig Merriman, age 58, passed away July 15 unexpectedly in her sleep at her home in Ballston Spa.

Jennifer was born in Rochester, NY in 1963 and grew up in Penfield, NY. She received her bachelor's degree from Niagara University and her Masters in Elementary Education from SUNY Brockport.

Jennifer loved being around her family, especially on Holidays. She was an amazing mother. Watching her children in all kinds of sports and activities gave her tremendous joy and she was enormously proud of the young adults they have become. She loved to entertain her friends on her deck and was a phenomenal cook. She enjoyed working in her garden and on her home. She was always quick with a smile and contagious laugh and ready to help a friend or stranger in need at a moment's notice.

She is survived by her mother, Jean Ludwig, her children Brett and Pamela, her ex-husband Dave, her sister Debbie, and brothers Doug, Fred, and Sid, Jr.

She is predeceased by her father Sid, who passed away in 2013.

She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
