Saratoga Springs, NY - Jeremiah Peter Burke (Jeg), born June 12, 1957 in Levittown, New York passed from this world and was welcomed by our Heavenly Father into eternal peace on September 15, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. Burke (1927-2015) and his long-time best friend, Michael Crimmins (1958-2017).

Jerry spent the early years of his life alongside his father and brother, Tom, building the family business, where he spent many late nights and early mornings making the donuts. Jerry's vision and entrepreneurial spirit were integral as the business evolved from Dunkin' Donuts to include commercial real estate development and grow to the height that it is today. An avid outdoorsman, Jerry will always be remembered for his love of hunting and adventurous endeavors that took him around the world. He proudly passed on this passion to his nephew, Tom. Above all else, Jerry considered his greatest accomplishment to be his four daughters—Lindsay, Ashley, McKenzie and Reilly—who he loved and adored.

Mr. Burke is survived by his mother Marie Burke (Nee Orientale); his long-time companion, Kristen Mann; his four daughters, Lindsay (Eric) Szeszycki, Ashley (Joseph) Varco, McKenzie (Kyle) Klopstock, Reilly Burke; his five grandchildren Samantha Varco, Cade Szeszycki, Dominic Varco, Jeremiah Varco and Burke Kinley Klopstock; his brother Thomas (Regina) Burke, his sister Francine (Mazen) Haddad; his nephews Thomas J. Burke III and Jeremiah P. Burke III, and his niece Courtney Burke.

Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8pm Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing and Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (518-584-5373).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Avenue.
