Saratoga Springs, NY – Joan M. Carr passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017 at Wesley Health Care Center. She was 90.

Born on February 11, 1927 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Emma (Ryall) Carr.  Joan was a 1945 graduate of St. Peter's Academy in Saratoga Springs and worked for many years at Van Raalte & Company. She was also a health aid at Maplewood Manor in Ballston Spa.

In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her sister, Theresa Nichols and two brothers, Harold Carr and James F. Carr.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 9:30am to 10:30am Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Ave., Ballston Spa. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.
