Saratoga Springs, NY - Joan Christian Munhall Hyde, 90, passed away after a long, well-lived life on March 26, 2023 at The Pines at Glens Falls. Joan was born June 3, 1932 to parents, Margaret Himes and John Munhall.

Joan lived in the Raymond Watkins Housing Complex in Saratoga Springs, New York area most recently, and previously resided in the Cape Cod, Massachusetts area. She graduated from Greenwich Central High School and also received an Associate Degree from Adirondack Community College.

Joan's interest in Archeology lead her toward extensive travel to Greece, Istanbul, Mexico City, Taxco, Veracruz, and Oaxaca. She also pursued her interest in Ballroom Dancing and Tango.

Joan leaves the following to cherish her memory: Patricia Naylor Runyon, Elizabeth Naylor, Laura N Newton, Elliott Anderson, Lawrence Fowler, Sydney Rose Anderson, Jasmine Anderson, and Loretta Ballard. Joan was predeceased by her daughters, Kathleen Naylor Fowler, Joan Naylor Anderson and former spouse Daniel Naylor.
