Saratoga Springs, NY - John Conklin passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 due to health complications within recent months. He was a fighter and is now at peace.

John was born Oct. 10, 1959 in Middletown, NY. He attended Orange County ARC as a child. John lived in the Letchworth Village State School from age 10 to 25 and at that time he moved to the Wilton Developmental Center. In 1995 John moved to a home on Lemont Avenue in Corinth, NY through Saratoga Bridges. He moved to his most recent home on Ruggles Road in 2014. John attended Saratoga Bridges Wilton Day Program for over 20 years.

John was a lover of baseball, especially the Yankees. He enjoyed hockey and NASCAR, spinning objects and music. Sponge Bob was a favorite of his. John also loved the outdoors and his many visits to Lake George. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends may call from 10am to 11am Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373). A funeral home service will follow at 11am and burial will be in Corinth Rural Cemetery, Corinth, NY.
