Saratoga Springs, NY - John D. Cremen died on Wednesday (Jan. 28, 2009) at Saratoga Hospital. He was 80. Born in New York City, he was predeceased by his son, Michael. John was a salesman all his life and loved golf, fishing, his country and a good joke. He was very proud of his hole-in-one at Shuksan (his favorite golf course) in Washington state. He battled illness for a long time and was strongly opinionated. John was always well dressed and enjoyed the finer things in life; a good meal and the company of friends and family. Survivors include his wife, Jean (Kuhlberg) and daughters, Deborah McDevitt of Mt. Home, Arkansas and Kristin Mason (Trace Swann) of Blaine, WA. John and Jean were married one month shy of their 40th anniversary. The family is deeply grateful to all the doctors and nurses who cared for him over the years; especially Dr. Roland Phillips and Dr. Rodney Ying. The Cremen family wishes to thank the hundreds of people in the community for their months of love and support. Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 10:30am Tuesday in the Chapel of the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in the main Church.
