Ballston Spa, NY John O. Hamilton, 53 passed away Monday, April 16, 2012. John was born on January 20, 1959 in Pawtucket, RI. John worked for over 25 years for Federal Express in Menands. John and Joanne owned and raced their horses at Saratoga Gaming and Raceway. His love for the sport led to their donation of their horse, JoJo, who is now known as Jupiter to the Saratoga Springs Police Department. He was also an enthusiastic Patriots and Red Sox fan. John is predeceased by his Father Clyde Hamilton Sr., mother Rita (LaBelle) Hamilton, and brother Clyde Hamilton, Jr. Survivors include his loving wife, Joanne (Filipow) Hamilton and their children Missy, Finster, Oreo and their little Angel K. His siblings, Linda Nolan, Ronald, Edward, Alan, and Donald Hamilton. His mother-in-law, Mary Filipow; brother-in-law Gerard (Barbara) Filipow; sister-in-law Kathryn (Basil) Nakonechny. He was loved, and will be greatly missed by all his nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Thursday April 19, 2012 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Friday, April 20, 2012 at St. Clements Church 231 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs.
