Corinth, NY - John David Smith "Jay" died peacefully at Saratoga Hospital, Saturday, December 22, 2018.

Born on March 20, 1947 in Catskill, NY, he was the son of the late John H. Smith and Phyllis Bleau Smith. Survivors include a son Geoffrey Smith and daughter Ashley Haile (Al); grandchildren Geoffrey Smith Jr. and Benjamin Smith; three sisters Janet Beza, Barbara Roccio (Michael), Holly Martin (Greg) as well as nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 6pm to 7pm Friday, January 4, 2019 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373). A funeral home service will follow at 7pm and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
