Saratoga Springs, NY - Joseph N. Comiskey, 102, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23 ^rd , 2023.

Born in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late Frank and Gertrude Comiskey, a brother to Thomas, Eileen, Constance, Virginia, and Katherine. He was a graduate of Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, NY, and the Army Air Corps Gunner and Bombardier Schools. Devoted husband to the late Marie Louise (Ehlers) Comiskey and proud father to Raymond, the late Pamela and the late Anne Marie; dedicated husband to the late Joan Comiskey and proud uncle and step-father to Candy, Paul, and Vicky; and, cherished partner to the late Evelynn Crowley.

After his military service, during WWII, Joe was employed by American Airlines from 1947 to 1980 – culminating his career as the Vice President of Passenger Sales and Advertising. Outside of work, he enjoyed golfing, traveling, HAM radio, bird watching, reading, playing scrabble, computing, walks, and watching the Brooklyn Dodgers and Mets. He was also an eager and happy photographer of several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 8:30am to 10:30am at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow and be celebrated at 11:00am in the historic Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway by the Rev. Thomas H. Chevalier, pastor.

Burial with military honors will take place 12:30pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
