SARATOGA SPRINGS Joseph E. Fuller Jr., of Raymond Watkin Apartments, passed away at 2 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was 66. Joe was born April 8, 1943, in Saratoga Springs, and was the son of Mae Fisher and the late Joseph E. Fuller. He was married to Sandra E. Parkhurst on Sept. 14, 1963, at St. Peters Church. In addition to his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra, survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Hilliker (Jeffrey) of Porter Corners; a son, Charles Fuller of Corinth; and a grandson, Christopher Hilliker of Porter Corners. He is also survived by his mother, Mae Fisher; his brothers, Jeffrey Fuller and Robert Fuller; his mother-in-law, Marie Parkhurst; and his brother-in-law, Aciel Parkhurst and his wife, Teresa, of Albany. Joe loved playing and watching golf. His son, Charles, and grandson, Christopher, shared this passion, and they often played together. He enjoyed volunteering at St. Peters Church, where he was a devoted parishioner. He had a great sense of humor, and a joke for many throughout the day. He loved, and was loved by, a great many friends at Watkins Apartments. He will be missed greatly. He will also be missed by his cat, Max. The family wishes to thank Unit D1 at Saratoga Hospital; Dr. Baran, Dr. Ying and Dr. Dooley and associates, who were wonderful to him; and the Albany Medical Center surgical intensive care unit and Dr. Semenoff, who were a great comfort to him and his family. A Mass in celebration of Joes life will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at St. Peters Church on Broadway, with the Rev. Dominic S. Ingemie officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes of 628 North Broadway.
