Joseph J. Loscalzo, age 75 years, formerly of Saratoga Springs, died June 23, 2021 at Mainland Hospital in Pomona, New Jersey.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY, May 13, 1946 and was the son of the late Rayfield and Alice (Ruggerio) Loscalzo.  Joe lived in Saratoga Springs for over a decade, previously living in Cairo, NY for over 30 years.  He was employed by the New York State Department of Corrections for more than 25 years and retired in 1996 as a Lieutenant.   Joe loved hanging out with his grandchildren, watching old movies, eating a good meal, and telling a good story.

Joe is predeceased by the love of his life, Ann-Marie Loscalzo, and survived by his daughter, Francesca Tillou, son in law, Dr. Gregory Tillou, grandchildren, Maxwell and Cameron, and his siblings, Joanna Pizzolorusso (John) and John Loscalzo (Florence), along with nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.  His warm, friendly nature endeared him to everyone who was privileged to have known him.

Joe was a loving and generous man.  Childhood hunger is a problem that he cared deeply about and contributions in his memory may be made to the Franklin Community Center to help to positively impact the children they serve.

The family wishes to thank the many health care providers who took wonderful care of Joe throughout the many years of his illnesses, especially Julie Liberty, Saratoga Hospital and The Rubin Dialysis Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Monday, June 28, 2021 at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Ave., Ballston Spa, NY. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Catskill, NY.
