Niskayuna, NY - Joseph J Prock passed away peacefully at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, NY on December 11, 2024, he was 79.

Joseph grew up in Saratoga Springs, NY and graduated from St. Peter's Academy in 1963. Joseph graduated from St. Bonaventure University and then was drafted in the Army where he became a supply sergeant, he was discharged in the fall of 1969.

After the Army, Joseph discovered his passion for printing. Joe was employed at 3M, Kux Manufacturing Company, and Benchemark Printing, Inc., where he worked for 30 years.  Joe also had a passion for golf, Siena College basketball, spending time with his wife Rosemary and daughter Lauren.  Joe was a happy guy and had many friends, he and his wife were affiliated with Wildwood Programs and at one point, Joe was president of the board of directors.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Rosemary D'Alberto Prock; daughter, Lauren Prock both of Niskayuna; sister, Pauline Prock Murphy of Arvada, CO; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, December 20, 2024 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave. A burial with Military honors will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY.
