Saratoga Springs - On December 18, 2018, Joseph F. Wilson passed away after a long battle with COPD.   He was surrounded in his final moments by his loving family and friends.

Born on January 17, 1940 to the late Nathan and Margaret Wilson, he was a Saratoga native.  Joe worked for the Saratoga Springs School district for 32 years as well as the Saratoga Harness Track for 16 years.

Joe loved spending time with his family and going on trips to different casinos. He greatly enjoyed attending his regular Wednesday night poker games with his sons.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years,  Lucy Wilson, his two sons Michael Wilson and Dave Wilson (wife Alice), and his five grandchildren; Michael Wilson Jr, Kimberly Wilson, Nickolaus Wilson, and twin girls Autumn Wilson and Ava Wilson.

Relatives and friends may call from 12:30pm -1:30pm on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the William J. Burke and Sons Funeral Home, 628 North Broadway,  Saratoga  Springs NY. A funeral service will be celebrated immediately following calling hours at 1:30pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at the Greenridge Cemetery, Saratoga Springs NY.
