Saratoga Springs, NY Josephine B. Taylor died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008 at Maplewood Manor. She was 97. Born Oct. 2, 1910 in Schuylerville, NY she was the daughter of the late Sterling R. and Alice F. (Shaw) Brisbin. Josephine was the owner/operator of the Alpine Ski Shop located in Saratoga Springs as well as the Alpine Meadow Ski Center. She enjoyed fishing and loved to golf, playing well into her 90s. Josephine was married to Edwin B. Taylor who passed away in 1993. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by six sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Jo Stevens of Windham, CT; two grandsons, Christopher (Christine) Stevens of Killingly, CT, Gregory Stevens of Windham, CT; great-grandchildren, Alexis Stevens and Leana Zuraw as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made in her name to Maplewood Manor Resident Fund (3rd.
