Saratoga Springs – Josephine (Gen) C. Wrobel, 99, of Saratoga Springs, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cohoes, NY, on November 22, 1922, daughter of the late Edward and Amelia (Prokop) Kupiec. She was a 1940 graduate of Cohoes High School and later went on to graduate from Mildred Elley Business School.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Alexander J. Kupiec and Bernard J. Kupiec and her husband of 58 years, William (Walt) Wrobel whom she was co-owner and manager of Kaydeross Beach and Amusement Park until its sale in 1987.

She is survived by her son, W. Gregory Wrobel, his wife Judy of Saratoga Springs, and daughter Amelia Lamb, her husband David of Pasadena, CA, five grandchildren; Joshua Wrobel of Woodland Hills, CA, Stephen Lamb, Jennifer Lamb and Anna Lamb of San Francisco, CA, and Emma Wrobel of Saratoga Springs, two great grandchildren, Aidan and William Wrobel of Woodland Hills, CA, one niece, Christine Silverman of Schenectady, NY, one nephew, David Kupiec of Okinawa, Japan.

Services and burial will be private at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
