Ballston Spa, NY – Joshua Stone passed away, Monday, January 31, 2022. He was born July 9, 1977 in Saratoga Springs.

Josh was the kind of person you meet and instantly like. He was such a clever and goofy guy, always joking around and never too serious. He was a hard worker, an amazing friend and brother, and if you were ever lucky enough to have him cook for you, you would also know that he was an incredible chef. He loved live music, especially the Grateful Dead.

His absence is going to be felt by many; he was truly one of a kind.

Fare you well, Josh. We love you more than words can tell.

Josh was employed by Next Door Kitchen and Bar in Ballston Spa and the Target Distribution Center in Wilton.

Josh is predeceased by his mother Teresa Stone; grandparents Tappy and Ginny Stone; and cousin Damian Stone.

He is survived by his sister Annie Cressey and her daughter Catalina Brachetti; aunts and uncles Sharon and Marty Erickson, Lex and Kathy Stone, Mike Stone, and Betty Cressey Wiley; cousins Rick (Sophie) Dailey, Dennis Stone, Mailey O'Donnell, Victor (Jennifer) Pickard, Justin Cressey, and Jason Williamson; as well as many more cousins and friends.

A brief funeral service followed by a celebration of his life will be held in the spring of 2022.
