Saratoga Springs, NY - Joyce M. Panarese passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was 60. Born on March 21, 1948 in Bellville, IL she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Gladys Wiegers. Joyce spent 30 years as the Director of Nursing at the Baptist Health Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Scotia. She loved to cook and most of all spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Joyce touched, cared for and loved unconditionally. She allowed us all to choose our own path and was always there for anyone who needed a mother or a friend. She will be deeply missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Edward Wiegers. Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Panarese of Ballston Spa and one son, Chris Panarese and his wife Laura of Wilton; two grandchildren, Samantha and Johnathan Panarese also of Wilton; two sisters, Shirley Dunker of Missouri and Marilyn Brauer of Texas and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8pm Thursday Jan. 29, 2009 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). Funeral services will be at 10am Friday, January 30, 2009 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 149 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenridge Rd., Glenville.
