Porter Corners, NY- Joyce D. Salmon, 80, of 1048 North Creek Road, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Joyce was born on October 9, 1945, in Schuylerville, NY, the daughter of Dortha (Blanchard) Almy and Albert Almy. She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Joyce is survived by her sister, Charlene Ennius of Chesapeake, VA; her five children: Tammy Shippey and her husband David of Charlton, Laurie Hampshire of Fort Edward, Brenda Salmon and her fiancé Keenan Barnes of Wilton, Jay Salmon and his wife Michelle of Lake George, and Daniel Salmon and his wife Amber of Galway.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Michael and his wife Shannon, Kala, Courtney and her fiancé Josh, Kyle, Alexander and his wife Liz, Jacob and his fiancé Bella, and JJ; eleven great-grandchildren: Dylan, Alexia, Dylan, Aamira, G’laya, Evelyn, Logan, Skyler, Daxon, Odin, and Orion; and several nieces and nephews.

At Joyce’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.

Joyce will be remembered for her love of family, gardening, and crafts, and for the time she cherished with those closest to her.
