Saratoga Springs - Judith Griffin Mansfield, passed away Wednesday (Apr. 14, 2010) at Saratoga Hospital. She was 75. Born on Feb. 24, 1935 in Glens Falls, she was the oldest of five children born to the late Francis and Helen (Lawless) Griffin. A graduate of the former St. Peter's Academy and SUNY Farmingdale, Judy was a dental hygienist in the office of Dr. Fred J. Wolpert, DDS on Lake Avenue for many years and a communicant of the Church of St. Peter. Survivors include her daughter, Kelly (John) Waechter of Saratoga Springs; two sons, David (Kelley Ann) Mansfield of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Sean Mansfield of Saratoga Springs; three granddaughters, Paige Waechter, Aileen and Lucy Mansfield; two sisters, Nora (Francis) Bombara of Silver Springs, Maryland and Kathy (Bill) Hickey of Saratoga Springs; two brothers, Frank (JoAnn) Griffin of Ballston Spa and Brian (Hollis-Hite) Griffin of Grand Island, New York; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 10am Saturday in the Chapel at the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am in the Church of St. Peter, by the Rev. Dominic S. Ingemie, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Avenue.
