Saratoga Springs, NY - Judith McMullen passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 67. Born on June 17, 1944 Judith grew up in Voorheesville, NY. She was a wonderful clarinet and piano player. She earned a Bachelor's degree and taught music at the elementary level for the Saratoga Springs City School District and also for Skidmore College. Judith was an avid exercise enthusiast at Healthplex. She made time in her life to help others as an alcohol and drug counselor at Leonard Hospital in Troy, NY. Judith was predeceased by her husband, James F. McMullen, Sr. who passed away on March 27, 2010. Survivors include her daughter, Victoria West of Colorado Springs, CO; two stepchildren, James F. (Tammy) McMullen, Jr. of Saratoga Springs and Maxine (David Ristine) McMullen of St. Petersburg, FL; four step-grandchildren, Ashley, Marissa, Austin and Zachary and her three loving cats. Relatives and friends may call from 11:30am to 1:30pm Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). A funeral service will follow at 1:30pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Crandall officiating. Burial will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
