Mechanicville, NY - Judythe Rogers entered the Kingdom of Heaven to join her Lord and Savior on June 2, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer, she was 74 years old.  Judy was born in 1947 in Humphry, Nebraska to the late Reverend Luther Doctor and his wife Marie.  She moved with her family to New York State as a teenager and attended Briar Cliff High School, then Wagner and Pace University where she received her Associate Degree in Nursing.  As a lifelong learner, she continued her education at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1999.  She worked as a Registered Nurse in private duty and rehab settings for most of her career.

Judy was an avid reader and loved spending time in her local libraries.  She was an active member of her church, Prince of Peace in Clifton Park and volunteered for many different roles there.  She was an active member of the choir, performing with them at Carnegie Hall in 2018.  She enjoyed a church trip to Germany to do volunteer work, exploring the church's heritage as well as her own.

Judy was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Noel and Warren.  She is survived by her two daughters Rhiannon Schin (Tom), and Angelina; grandsons Cameron, Dameon, Nathan (Schin) and Tyler (Schin).

The family would like to thank Judy's many friends for their love and support during these trying times as well as the staff of Community Hospice of Saratoga County and Mary's Haven of Saratoga Springs.

Memorial services will be planned for a later date and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Judy's name to Community Hospice of Saratoga (179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY) or Mary's Haven of Saratoga Springs (35 New Street, Saratoga Springs, NY).
