Ballston Lake, NY- Julia T. Ballestero, 94, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Albany Medical Center.

She was born on March 3, 1929 in Easton, NY, the daughter of the late Lester Peregrim and Anna (Skoda) Peregrim.

Julia worked for the General Electric in Schenectady until becoming a full-time mom.

She enjoyed gardening and doing things around the house even into her later years. She enjoyed keeping busy. Julia was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church in Ballston Lake where she was an active participant in their exercise group.

Julia is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Manuel; sons, Jeffrey and Manuel (Lisa); grandchildren, Manny Jr., and Amanda; several nieces and nephews, a very unique cat, Vespa, and many friends.

In addition to her parents Julia is predeceased by her siblings; Kathy, Mary, Helen, Paul, Mike, Tim, Tom, and John.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at Albany Medical Center on the third floor B-wing for their kindness and comfort while caring for Julia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 73 Midline Rd., Ballston Lake, NY by Rev. Thomas Konopka, MDiv., LCSW-R , Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Saratoga Springs.
