Saratoga Springs, NY – Kathi J. Vincek passed away peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Corinth, NY on January 1, 1959, Kathi is the daughter of Ronald E. Baker and Joan E. Baker (Burton) and was the first baby born in the New Year.

A graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, Kathi received multiple regents diplomas and was at the top of her class.  Kathi also graduated at the top of her class from Business school and received many awards of excellence during her computer training programs.

For over 20 years, Kathi was employed by Walmart in Saratoga Springs, managing the invoicing office, where she received many performance based awards.

Kathi is predeceased by George J. Vincek and their darling daughter, Monica; her brothers, Ronald Baker and Joseph Baker; her brother-in-law, David Brown; and her sister-in-law, Carole Schyberg.

In addition to her parents, Kathi is survived by her daughters, Vanessa Murauskas and Cynthia Robbins; son-in-law, Justin; niece, Samantha Baker (Jason); son, Zachary Murauskas (KP); brother, Kim Schyberg; sisters, Valerie Baker and Vickie Brown; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many close friends. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Khya and her cat, Putty.

Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 5pm and 6 to 8pm on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Friday, November 9, 2018 at St. Joseph's Church in Greenfield Center followed by burial in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.

Following her burial, all are invited to celebrate Kathi's life at The Knights of Columbus, 50 Pine Rd. Saratoga Springs.

Memorial donations in Kathi's honor can be made to a charity of one's choice.
