Saratoga Springs - Kathleen Marie Dewey, 69, died peacefully of natural causes at home in Saratoga Springs on October 6, 2021.  Kathleen was born April 12, 1952, in Suffern, NY, to the late James and Elizabeth Glenn.  She graduated from Rosary Academy in Sparkhill, NY in 1970 and went on to attend the State University of New York in Oneonta where she graduated in 1974 with a degree in education.

Kathleen was an active member of St. Clement's Church, as she was a woman of strong faith.  She was also a teacher in the Saratoga Springs City School District for 35 years.  She loved her job and took great pride in her students' successes, while gaining lifelong friendships with colleagues along the way.

Kathleen loved life & loved her family deeply, her happiest times were when she was surrounded by her family. She will be truly missed by all the lives she touched throughout her time in this world.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 47 years Albert J. Dewey and her two daughters, Meaghan E. Dewey (Lakey) of Saratoga Springs and Kaitlin L. Romano (Ryan) of Dallas, TX. Kathleen also leaves behind her pride & joy, her 3 grandchildren; Ava Marie McNeil, Trey Alexander McNeil & Sean Albert McNeil (Meaghan) all of Saratoga Springs.  She is also survived by her three sisters; Patricia Weaver (Steven) of Greenfield Center, NY, Sheila Servelli (Anthony) of Argyle, NY,  Gearldine Bovino (Robert) of Garnerville, NY, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

A Mass of Christin Burial will be celebrated at 10am at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Avenue. Burial will follow at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
