Obituary
Saratoga Springs - Kathleen Mary McDonough (Morris) loving mother and grandmother, devoted wife, faithful sister and and daughter passed away peacefully on April 8, 2018 at Saratoga Hospital.
Katie, as she was known to her friends, was born on April 6, 1942 in Newark, NJ. She was the fifth of eight children born to Mary (Connell) Morris and Henry Morris. On April 6, 1958 she married the love of her life, Richard Daniel McDonough in Saratoga Springs, NY. Together they had 5 children. Kathleen worked for many years at the Adirondack Trust Company. She was the voice of the bank, joyfully greeting customers on the phone until her retirement.
Kathleen was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Richard Morris, William Morris, and Daniel Morris. Katie was also predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Richard McDonough and by one daughter, Michelle Lynn McDonough.
She is survived by her children; Daniel (Danielle) McDonough of W. Melbourne, FL, Theresa (Greg) Piekarz of Cambridge, NY, Susan Delossantos of Saratoga Springs, NY, Carolyn (Michael) Rogers of Colorado Springs, CO, grandchildren; Victoria McDonough, Andrew (Cindy) McDonough, Kylie McDonough, Makayla McDonough, Colleen Griffin, Shawn Griffin, Michael (Shaunesty) Delossantos, Katie Delossantos, and Juan Delossantos and by great grandchildren; Malachi, Maci, and Stella Delossantos. Katie is also survived by her brothers James Morris, Thomas (Jeanne) Morris and by sisters Theresa Morris and Patricia (Joe) Sequin.
Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Saratoga Hospital Foundation (211 Church Street, Saratoga Springs) or The Community Hospice Foundation (179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs).
