Saratoga Springs, NY - Kathleen A. Provoncha, 65, went home to the Lord on Sunday, December 1, 2013 after a long struggle with cancer. Kathleen was born in Mineville, NY on May 6, 1948 to the late Patrick J. and Marie Little Coyle. She graduated from Vergennes Union High School in Vermont and retired from NYS Civil Service in Albany, NY. She was a parishioner of St. Clement's Church in Saratoga Springs and served on the board of the Christian Women's Club. Kathleen was active in various women's retreats and bible studies. She also was a Weight Watchers lecturer. Kathleen was a shining example of a true faith believer. Her exuberant compassionate personality drew many sincere friendships. She was very giving and touched the lives of many. Her guidance gave resolution and peace to many in need. Kathleen was very blessed and appreciative for the many acts of kindness that were returned to her during her final journey. Her passing was one of calm acceptance and anticipation for her glorious eternal reward. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Jay Provoncha, her brothers Harold, James and Theodore Coyle, her sisters Patricia Coyle, Judy Hart and Annette Baronoski. Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Gatzendorfer; siblings Adele, Mary, Joseph and John Coyle, Therese Flanders and Caroline Bitler all of Vt; Jeanne Bean of TX; Louise St. Jacques of NY; Dr. Gael Coyle of GA; Delores Coyle-Quirk of NH, Susan Kjaer of MA; several in-laws; nieces, nephews and dear friends. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7pm Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY (518-584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave. Please keep in your prayers her two sponsored children Bryan and Aldren of World Vision.
