SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY- Kathleen A. Zito, 79, of Saratoga Springs, NY passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025.

Born January 1946, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Michael and Kathleen Rooney. She attended Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Elementary School and graduated from All Saints High School. After many years, she retired from State Farm Insurance Company.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas, of fifty-nine years and her sons Thomas (Joseph), Michael (Maureen), and Christopher (Meghan), as well as her grandchildren Kate, Luke, Anna, Maggie, and Thomas. She is also survived by her sister, Mary O'Rourke (Jimmy) and sister-in-law, Charlotte Rooney, in addition to many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen is predeceased by her brothers, Michael and Martin (Martha), sisters-in-law, Ann Dell'Aquila (Frank) and Margaret Dell'Aquila (Barney) and in-laws Thomas and Anna Zito.

Kathleen was an active member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Saratoga Springs, NY. Kathy was a participant in the Prayer Line. She was also a member of the choir for many years, as music was one of the joys of her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4-7pm on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in the Historic Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.
