Riviera Beach, FL Kent D. Hays, 67, formerly of Saratoga Springs died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at his home. Born June 27, 1942 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of William and Jean Hays. Kent graduated from Saratoga High School, Class of 1961 and then served in the U.S. Navy from 1962 1966 when he relocated to Florida. He worked for RCA and National Semiconductor and later became a security guard. He retired due to illness in 2004. Kent will be remembered for his love of American history, antique cars, and his strong opinions on politics. Kent was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Barry P. Hays. Survivors include his nephews, Scott Hays of Greenfield, Tim Hays of Wilton, and several cousins. A service was held at the South Florida National Cemetery.
