Saratoga Springs, NY - Kimberlee L. Billok, age 42, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Saratoga Hospital. Born on October 12, 1972, in Lynn, Massachusetts, she is the daughter of Ed and Della Latta. She graduated from Randolph High School in New Jersey in 1991, and Loyola University in Baltimore in 1995, where she was a proud member of the Green & Grey Society. Kim then received her Master's Degree in elementary education from Trinity University in Washington, D.C. in 1997 while participating in the Teachers' Service Corps program. Also in 1997, she married Michael D. Billok at the chapel of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Kim and Mike then moved to Silverdale, Washington, where Mike was assigned to the submarine USS NEVADA for the next three years. In 2000, Mike and Kim arrived in Saratoga Springs for the first time while Mike was assigned to the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit in West Milton. In 2002, Mike and Kim moved to Silver Spring, Maryland, when Mike was assigned to the Chief of Naval Personnel in Washington, D.C. In 2010, Kim and Mike returned to Saratoga Springs, where Mike began working at the law firm of Bond, Schoeneck & King. Kim was a parishioner of St. Clement's Catholic Church in Saratoga Springs, where she was a frequent lector at Mass. For the past four-plus years, Kim was a preschool teacher at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She dearly loved teaching her young students, and enjoyed watching them learn and grow. Kim is survived by her husband Mike, her daughters Maddie and Grace and her son Sam. In addition to her parents, Ed and Della Latta, she leaves her brother Tim and his wife Jocelyn, and their children Maren, Sidney, Miles, and Juliet of Ashburn, Virginia, as well as her brother Joe and his wife Laura of Ellicott City, Maryland. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7pm Thursday January 29, 2015 at the William J. Burke and Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Friday January 30, 2015 at St. Clement's Catholic Church, 231 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, 150 West Ave., Saratoga Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to one of Kim's favorite charities, the Backstretch Children's Ministry at St. Paul's, which provides education and daycare to the children of backstretch workers during the annual racing season at the Saratoga racetrack.
