Obituary

Saratoga Springs - Krystle Chalich lived her life with extraordinary purpose, unwavering conviction, and a heart that knew no limits. On Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the age of 41, Krystle unexpectedly passed, leaving behind a profound emptiness in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

To know Krystle was to experience kindness without judgment, intelligence without arrogance, and compassion without condition. She possessed a brilliant mind and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, but it was the warmth of her heart and the beauty of her soul that defined her most. She believed in people—often seeing potential where others saw obstacles—and she devoted her life to lifting others up with empathy, encouragement, and unyielding support.

A proud graduate of Siena College, Krystle continued her education at Albany Law School before furthering her legal studies at New York University School of Law. Her career reflected both her intellect and integrity as she practiced with Ernst & Young and later Ayco Financial. She also co-authored a respected publication on Wills and Estates, sharing her knowledge to benefit both colleagues and the legal profession.

Krystle measured success not by titles or accolades, but by the lives she touched. Teaching was one of her greatest passions. She had a rare gift for making others feel seen, heard, and capable of achieving more than they imagined.

Krystle's compassion extended far beyond the classroom. Her work with the Shelters of Saratoga reflected her deep belief that every person deserved dignity, kindness, and hope. She approached every individual she encountered with an open mind, an open heart, and the sincere desire to help. Whether offering guidance, friendship, or simply a listening ear, Krystle gave of herself selflessly.

Outside of her career, Krystle found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved getting lost in a good book, working out, and spending cherished time surrounded by the family and friends she adored. Her greatest joy came from being with those she loved.

Krystle was preceded in death by her father, Victor Angelico; her paternal grandparents, Paul and Deloris Angelico; and her beloved father figure, Jerry Burke.

She leaves behind her loving mother, Kristen Mann; her devoted sister, Taylor Falvey (Matthew); her very protective brother, Jeffrey Mann; her newborn niece, Elliot Falvey, her maternal grandmother, Gayle Chalich; her maternal grandparents, Bill (Penny) Chalich; her Uncle and Aunt Tarone (Amanda) Liebman and their four children along with close loved family members.

Although her time with us was far too brief, Krystle's legacy will endure in every life she inspired, every person she comforted, and every act of kindness she performed. She reminded us that true strength is found in compassion, true intelligence is paired with humility, and the greatest measure of a life is not what we achieve, but how deeply we love.

Those who knew Krystle will forever remember her radiant smile, her thoughtful wisdom, her steadfast convictions, her beautiful spirit, and the extraordinary way she made everyone around her feel valued. The world is undeniably dimmer without her, but brighter because she was here.

Funeral services will be private.
