Hudson Falls, NY - Laddie Zwijacz passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 after a long illness, at his home with his daughter Nikki, very good friend Lynn Sherlock-Webb, and his Boston Terrier "Sam" at his side. He was 82. Born on February 6, 1932 in Wilton NY, he was the son of the late Stanley and Rose Zwijacz. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by seven brothers, Joe, John, Stanley, Theodore, Frank, Burt and Stubby and a sister Helen. Laddie received his GED in Goldsboro, NC and in 1951 joined the United States Air Force. He was a flight line mechanic for 20 years. Laddie loved to work on diesel motors and enjoyed gardening and camping. Survivors include his daughter Nikki Tortora of Saratoga Springs and his son Marc (Cheryl) Zwijacz of Wilton; grandchildren Amber Heine, Sarah Zwijacz, Alexie Zwijacz, and Zachary Zwijacz; brother Richard of Wilton; sisters Vanda Pillesky of Wilton and Nellie Votrubek of Pulaski, TN and his former wife Sonya Isolda of Saratoga Springs. There will be no public calling hours. Burial with military honors will be on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 1pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
