Saratoga Springs, NY - Laura Besson Puller passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, April 25, 2011. She was 87. Born in Port au Prince, Haiti on April 26, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Puller and Fernande Besson. She worked as a secretary at Ets. Raymond Flambert Construction for twenty-five years in Port au Prince. After retiring in 1976, Laura immigrated to Cayuga, NY to live near her beloved granddaughters. She became a proud naturalized United States Citizen in 1993 and moved to Saratoga Springs with her family in 2006. Survivors include one daughter, Michaelle (Giordani) Lauzon and her husband David Lauzon of Saratoga Springs; three granddaughters, Jennifer Lauzon of Philadelphia, Christine Lauzon of Los Angeles and Sabrina Lauzon and her husband Robert Kuczynski of Saratoga Springs; one brother, Pierre Lassegue of Port au Prince and one niece, Josepha Fafie Frisch also of Port au Prince. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 3:30pm Friday, April 29, 2011 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). Funeral services will immediately follow at the funeral home. There will also be a memorial service in the New York City area at a later date to be announced.
