Middle Grove, NY - Laura R. Roeckle, 75, of Middle Grove passed away June 10, 2010. A 1952 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, she was co-owner and operator of L&R Mobile Acres Mobile Home Park in Middle Grove since 1967. She also ran Roeckles General Store in Middle Grove with her husband. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Richard R. Roeckle, in 2005 and is survived by two sons: Roland Roeckle and his wife Jacquelyn of Goldens Bridge, NY and their two children, Kristen and William; Robert Roeckle and his partner James Fisher of Greenfield Center; three daughters: Lynda Roeckle of Middle Grove, Lora Brown and her husband Kevin of Middle Grove and their son Adam; and Lea Andrew and her husband Stephen of Winterport, Maine and their daughters, Julia and Maria. She is also survived by siblings Dorothy Rowland (Henry), John Potter (Norma), Frances Potter, George Potter (Patricia), Jane Potter and sister-in-law Carol Potter having been predeceased by her brother R. Chester Potter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11am Monday June 14, 2010 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). Burial will be private.
