Saratoga Springs, NY - Lester Wilson Jr., 87, ended his life journey in the first week of this year 2010. Lester, son of the late Elizabeth Wilson and Lester Wilson, Sr. was born July, 8, 1922. He was a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs. For most of his working career he was a Steam Turbine technician at General Electric Co., Schenectady, NY and yet he found time to work at the Saratoga Park Nursery helping to keep the State Park a great place for all families to enjoy. Lester was an avid and knowledgeable outdoorsman and spent many a summer at his camp near Sacandaga Lake, occasionally bringing his younger relatives to the great outdoors. His family will never forget the indelible and happy memories that he created and left behind. Family members who will miss him dearly are his brother, David Wilson; his nieces, Rose Dart, Monica and Maureen Sandidge and his nephew and his wife, Jesse and Ann Sandidge. A memorial service will take place at 2pm Friday, Jan. 15, 2010 at the William J. Burke & Sons /Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373).
