Saratoga Springs, NY - Lillian "Honey" C. Fay died peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2023. She was 86 years old. Honey was born on May 5, 1936 in Albany, NY. She was the first child of the late Lillian M. Garhartt. Honey was a loving wife and the devoted mother of six children. Over time, she became the loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother of a large and very close extended family.

Honey will be missed and remembered by all those who knew her for her sweet disposition, caring nature and kindness. Honey spent many years as a homemaker raising her children. Later in life, she was a clerk for the computer data center for BOCES.

Honey was predeceased by her mother, Lillian Garhartt; brother, George; daughter-in-law, Frances Fay; granddaughter, Erin Fay; and grandson, Jeffrey Valla. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Vincent C. Fay; six children, Vincent K. Fay of Saratoga Springs, Michael (Mary) Fay of Schuylerville, Valerie (Michael) Valla of Cambridge, Gregory Fay of Milton, VT, Christopher (Cherlyn) Fay of Saratoga Springs; Douglas (Karen) Fay of Little Falls; daughter-in-law Suzanne Fay of Saratoga Springs; and siblings, Bertha Kezyma, Mary Rose Garhartt, and James Garhartt. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Devin, Morgan, Eric, Kristen, Ariana, Shannon, Jennifer, Justin, Serena, Alexandra, Natasha and Katelyn; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
