Saratoga Springs - Lillian Cora Redgrave of Webster St., Saratoga Springs, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, November 15, 2008. She was 91 years young. Born on October 2, 1917, daughter of the late Clarence and Elma Rhodes of Rock City Falls, NY. Mrs. Redgrave graduated from Saratoga Springs High School and was employed at the Saratoga Hospital until the time of her marriage to the late Harry W. Redgrave, Sr. when she became a homemaker. After raising her children, Mrs. Redgrave returned to employment at the Saratogian until retirement. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her daughter Harlene Redgrave Varley and her brother Russell Rhodes. She is survived by her son Harry W. Redgrave III and his wife Connie of Malta, NY, her sister-in-laws Gladys Rhodes of Rock City Falls, NY, Hilda McKnight, Helen Shepard, Henrietta Long, Patricia Redgrave and Lenora Redgrave of Florida. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Paul L. Varley (Lorraine), former daughter-in-law Donna S. Redgrave, and her grandchildren; Lisa Varley-Ross(Ted), Kathleen Varley Grey (Brian), David Redgrave (Daniella), Michael Redgrave, Sarah Redgrave, Great Grandchildren Kara, Kayla, Brandon and Logan and several nieces and nephews in Florida and New York. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Monday (Nov. 17, 2008) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday (Nov. 18, 2008) at 1pm with the Reverend Doctor Brolin Parker officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Greenridge Cemetery, Lincoln Ave., Saratoga Springs.
