Gansevoort, NY- Linda Gilmore, 77, of Gansevoort, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Vasilauskas and Ellen Hoag. Linda earned an associate's degree in business from SUNY Cobleskill and a B.A. in political science from SUNY Albany. She had a long and successful career as a health insurance broker, retiring as a Senior Account Executive from USI Northeast Insurance.

Linda was devoted to her faith and community. She served in the Arimathea Ministry at St. Clement's Church, was Secretary on the Executive Board and Board of Directors for the March of Dimes, and volunteered at the Double H Ranch (Hole in the Woods camp), helping children with serious illnesses.

She was a beloved wife to Thomas Gilmore for 54 years, a loving mother to Dr. Sasha (Michael) Flynn, Sara (Anthony) Gonzalez, and Gretchen (Ian) Hiscock, and a proud grandmother to Jacob and Sophia Flynn and Adam Hiscock. She is also survived by her siblings Nancy (John) Bettencourt, Sharon Shadduck, and Stanley (Patty) Vasilauskas as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 11am to Noon on Thursday July 31, 2025 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clements Church 231 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs.  Burial will follow in Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. Schuylerville, NY.
