Linda Michon of Niskayuna, NY, passed away on April 9, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital. Linda was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, to the late Kenneth John Michon and Lillian Gina Michon (nee Corsani) on May 17, 1955. She attended SUNY Oswego, where she met her husband Jim, and later earned a master's degree in computer science from Union College. Linda married the love of her life on July 21, 1984. She worked for General Electric until 1988 when she left the workforce to focus on raising her children, which she was extremely proud of.

Linda was an avid violinist and competitive diver who also enjoyed swimming, biking, and skiing. She cherished spending time with her husband and children, especially during vacations to Virginia Beach. In recent years, Linda found great joy in playing with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her sons Christopher (Emily Hartzell) O'Brien and Matthew (Heather) O'Brien. She was a proud Nana to Noah and Charlotte O'Brien (Matthew and Heather).

Linda is also survived by her brother Greg (Patty) Michon, sister Lorraine (Edward) Gallant, niece Kailee (Ryan) Higginbotham, nephew Steven (Kayla) Michon, grandnephew Maverick (Steven and Kayla), and grandniece Sawyer (Kailee and Ryan).

Linda is predeceased by her husband Jim and parents Kenneth and Lillian.

Relatives and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Monday, April 14, 2025 at William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY (518-584-5373). A funeral home service will be celebrated at 1pm.

Burial will take place at 2:30pm at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY) where Linda will be laid to rest with her late husband.
