Buskirk, NY - Lisa L. DeAngelis, 58, formerly of Ballston Spa, NY passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2022.

Lisa was a determined and independent individual. Though she was diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses over the course of her life, she strove to overcome any obstacle she faced. Earning a Master's degree in psychology, her goal was to start an organization dedicated to helping others, namely women and children who were victims of domestic abuse.

Possessing what seemed to be a near encyclopedic knowledge, you could always count on her for an answer to a question or losing handedly in a game of Scrabble or Trivial Pursuit.

Spontaneous at her core, she never ceased to surprise you, even driving alone to see the eclipse in its totality in Kentucky.

An empath whose heart would hurt with yours and could never hold a grudge.

Lisa is survived by her mother Carole Jones and step-father Tim Jones; her sisters Cynthia Stephenson and Robin Bunnell; brother Fred Bunnell; and son Andrew DeAngelis.
