Saratoga Springs, NY - Lois A. (Hildenbrandt) Lynch passed away Tuesday (May 26, 2009) after a long illness, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 80. Born on Oct. 15, 1928 in Colonie, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Brown) Hildenbrandt. Lois worked for several years at the VanRaalte & Co. in Saratoga Springs. She leaves a wonderful legacy of journal writings, which were a big part of her life. Lois also enjoyed bird watching, had a unique sense of humor and had a way in which she could talk to anyone. Her lifelong dedication to her children will forever be held in their hearts and their love for her will never fade. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by three brothers, Reed, Charles and Joseph. Survivors include her loving husband of 26 years, James J. Lynch; her eight children, Jo-Anne (Ralph) Thompson of East Berne, Robert (Chrisi) Frey of Voorheesville, David (Molly) Frey of Lutz, FL, Judy (John) Jansen of North Port, FL, Dawn Koval of Saratoga Springs, Lois (James) Ernst of Wilton, Jennifer (Daniel) Gunville of East Berne and Charles Hotaling of Saratoga Springs; her brother, Roland Hildenbrandt of Colonie; nineteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lois is also survived by her very special companions, Cooper and Garfield, who will miss her deeply. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place at 10:30am on Sat. May 30, 2009 at Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.
