Gloversville, NY - Loretta R. VonHagen of 99 East Street, formerly of a Hicksville and Centereach, NY, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at Nathan Littauer Nursing Home. She was 90. Born on June 19, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Gil) Reed. In addition to her parents, Loretta was predeceased by her loving husband, Walter F. VonHagen and three brothers, Howard, William and Robert Reed. Loretta is survived by her four children, Pat Rodecker, Carol Carney and her husband Bob, Terry Snyder and Jimmy VonHagen; one brother, John Reed; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway by the Rev. Dominic S. Ingemie, pastor. Burial will be at 12:30pm Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY 11933.
