Glens Falls - We are sad to announce the passing of Louella (Woodard) Spear, 85 of Glens Falls NY. She passed on August 27, 2023 after a short illness. She was the daughter of Clarence and Mildred Woodard of Fort Edward who predeceased her.

Louella was an avid sports fan, especially for her NY Yankees. She loved watching family and friends at any of their sporting events and keeping track of their stats. She also loved playing bingo, doing word searches, and she always had a card to be sent for any occasion to family and friends.

Louella is survived by her children, Michelle (Tim) Guy, Barbara (David) Monroe, Ernest (Marsha) Spear, Fred Spear, Larry (Jill) Spear, and Ann Bennett;   grandchildren, Micki Guy, Sona Guy, Krystal Guy, Nicole Spear, Melissa Wendall, Jennifer Donohue, Faith Spear, Lisa Spear, Justice Spear and Dominque Bennett; siblings, Joyce Abare and Donna Chadwick; many nephews, nieces and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years Ernest who passed exactly 3 weeks prior to her death, together again; also, her siblings, Clarence Woodard, William Woodard Sr. and Larry Woodard.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date at the convenience of the family. Services will be private.

We would also like to acknowledge her daughter Ann and granddaughter Dominque for their love and care throughout the years for both parents.
