Saratoga Springs, NY - Lucy L. (Wiegel) Moyer passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 at the Wesley Health Care Center. She was 88. Born on April 22, 1925 in Washington Mills, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Adella (Houmbruck) Wiegel and had worked for several years as a caretaker for Barton Mines Corp. in North Creek. She was a former member of VFW Post 420 Ladies Auxiliary and was predeceased by her husband, Earl Moyer, one brother and a sister. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Poulette of Gansevoort; two sons, Douglas and Trudi Moyer of So. Glens Falls and Paul Moyer and Sandy Perryman of Stillwater and Sandy's children, Alyssa Tyler and David Braley, Jr.; 4 grandchildren; James Poulette, III, David Moyer, Jacqueline Poulette and Tara Moyer; one great-granddaughter, Tatiyana Rhodes; several cousins, nephews and one niece. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7pm Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, 584-5373. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 in the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway. Private burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
