Middle Grove, NY Margaret A. Bracken passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Saratoga Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 49. Born on November 30, 1962 in Saratoga Springs, Margaret was the daughter of Arleen Roxbury Bracken and the late Edmund Bracken. She was a housekeeper for many local residents. Margaret enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles. In addition to her mother, Margaret is survived by her children, Joseph Hastings, Jacqueline and Robert Brownell, all of Middle Grove and Jessica Brownell of Rotterdam Junction; her beloved grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Matthew and Bradley Baker; one brother, Edmund T. Bracken and his wife Rebecca of Middle Grove; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Margarets family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Tai and Dr. Del Giacco, the Saratoga Hospital ER and ICU units and the Middle Grove Fire Department EMTs for their support and help. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Margarets life at 2pm Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Porter Corners Fire House, 405 Bockes Road, Porter Corners.
