Schuylerville, NY - Margaret "Peg" C. Deyoe passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 71. Born on January 11, 1941 in Fort Edward, NY, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Doris Obie Murphy. Peg and her husband Bill owned and operated the family dairy farm, "Umberland Farms" in Bacon Hill from 1963 to 1981. She later worked in the school cafeteria for the Schuylerville School District for 17 years. She raised six children, five boys and one girl. Peg loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed having large family meals. She also loved to garden and do ceramics as well as watch the birds outside her kitchen window. Peg was always thrilled to spend time with her grandchildren and was very proud of all their accomplishments. In addition to her parents, Peg is predeceased by a grandson, Kevin and a daughter-in-law, Ruth. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, William; her six children, David (Martine) Deyoe of Toulouse, France, Donald Deyoe of Glens Falls, Dennis (Robin Cowley) Deyoe of Ranchos Palos Verdes, CA, William Deyoe of Wilton, Timothy (Tina) Deyoe of Greenfield Center and Deborah (Jeff) Dooley of Wilton; six grandchildren, David Patrick, Tayler, Kaitlin, Jacob, Kelci and Jenna; two sisters, Joan (Randy) Randall and Patricia (John) Murphy and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 7pm Friday, April 13, 2012 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Notre Dame-Visitation Church, Pearl St., Schuylerville.
