Margaret (Peg) Gardner passed away at her home on Sunday May 19, 2024 in Arcadia, FL.

She was born on November 11, 1945, to the late Velma and Russell Williams in Schenectady, NY. Peg worked for 34 years as a Tax Technician for the State of New York. She was an avid bowler and golfer. For many years she coached junior bowlers in Ballston Spa, NY. Upon retirement, she was treasurer at Bend of the River golf course in Hadley, NY. When she moved to Florida as a full-time resident, she continued giving back to the golfing community by becoming treasurer at the Arcadia Village Country Club.

Peg was predeceased by her husband Al Gardner in 1992 and her son Tim Gardner in 2020. She is survived by her son Scott Gardner of Carrabassett Valley, Maine; her Grandsons, Jerod and Liam Gardner; their mother Jenn Durgin all of Cumberland, Maine and her nephew, Andrew Roberts of Melrose, NY.

Peg would like to thank all of her friends in Arcadia Village, especially Sylvia, Jeanne, Bill and Sandi, and too many others to name. Thank you to Sharon and Margie for all of the cards, encouragement, and love from the rest of the "Lake Placid 8".
