Saratoga Springs, NY - Margaret Anne (Peggy) Murray went into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital. Born at Glens Falls Hospital on November 10,1942, she was the daughter of the late James S. and Margaret Caruso Orsini. She graduated in 1960 from South High in South Glens Falls where she was fourth in her Class. After high school, Peggy went to work at the First National Bank of Glens Falls as a Secretary where she continued working until May 1971. In April, 1970 Peggy married William Murray of Saratoga and in June, 1971 they were surprised with twin girls. Two years later, another girl, and three years later another girl. Peggy was a full-time mother, raising their four girls and volunteering at their schools and church. She was a member of St. Clements Church where she worked Bingo and served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She was also a member of the Tri-County Mothers of Twins Club for over 40 years. Peggy began work at the Mailing and Shipping Center for 9 months before her illness was diagnosed. Bill and Peggy began camping as a family when the girls where young, and later, they started traveling and vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC, Florida and Schroon Lake, NY. She loved reading, jigsaw puzzles, walking the beach, shopping, swimming and especially her time spent with family and friends. She enjoyed the quiet but she was always the first to suggest a party. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, William G. Murray; her daughters, Christine and Richard Phaneuf of Saratoga Springs, Colleen Murray of Wilton, Cynthia and Joseph Boisclair of Saratoga Springs and Margie and Jason Fagel of Glenville; three grandchildren, William Boisclair, Ian Fagel and Eli Fagel; her sister, Jane and Thomas Heiss of Queensbury; sister-in-law, Judy Latte of Saratoga Springs; niece Tracy and Vinnie Gentile of Albany; nephews Jeffrey and Beth Latte of Arizona and Kurt Heiss of Queensbury; longtime friend Ruth Roach of Glens Falls; the neighborhood gang; several cousins and many friends.
