Ballston Spa - Margaret Mary Reynolds of Maplewood Manor in Ballston Spa, died on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. She was 86. She was born in Saratoga Springs on February 3, 1923, daughter of the late William Joseph and Victoria Novitsky Reynolds. She graduated from Saratoga Springs Central Schools in 1941. She is a veteran of the United States Army , serving as a W. A. Corp Medical Unit Surgical Technician during World War II. Margaret was a operator for NYTEL for over 30 years, retiring in 1981. She also worked at VanRaalte & Co. for several years. Margaret was a member of St. Clement's Church and belonged to their retreat program. She also was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, a 50 year member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court McLaughlin and the American Legion Adirondack Post #70. Margaret is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her five brothers, Jack, James, George, Richard and William Reynolds and her five sisters, Victoria Gorman, Anna Graczyk, Abbie Mahar, Helen Whalen and Mary Eugestrom. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am Friday, Aug. 7, 2009 at St. Clement's Church , 231 Lake Ave. by the Rev. Francis E. Sullivan, C.Ss.R.
